Movies to Watch on Halloween Night

Halloween is my absolute favorite time of the year, and perhaps even more than I do at Christmas time and around the holidays, I always feel the need to give my close friends and family a gift or two.

This year, instead of just buying them random, pre-packaged gifts and goods, I decided to give Halloween-themed gift baskets to them. I got the idea when I was shopping at a local store in town called Joan’s Village Card and Gift, and I saw that Joan (the store owner that the shop is named after) had these really neat gift baskets for sale.

The price was very good, so I picked up five of them. I decided to give one each to my brother, his girlfriend Andrea, my mother, my father, and my best friend Laura. Continue reading →

Halloween Gift Basket for Her

The basket was orange colored wicker that was weaved together. It was a foot tall and had a tall handle.

On the inside of the Halloween gift basket there was silky black decorative paper to hold the treats and toys inside. Contained in the basket were various chocolate candy bars like Snickers, Twix, and Hershey bars.

Also, inside the basket were candy Pez dispensers, two decorative masquerade masks, and a few joke toys, like a shocking pack of gum.

The basket was very large and also had an assortment of pretzels. Such as chocolate covered, vanilla chocolate covered, and also caramel covered.

Everything appeared very high quality even thought the majority of it was homemade. Continue reading →

How to Write Touching Halloween Card for Gift Basket

I received a Halloween basket from my mother this Halloween. The basket was an upside down pumpkin which was carried by a piece of yarn.

It had bats and witches painted on it but I don’t know where she got it from. Inside the basket was typical candy like crunch bars, etc… but the best thing was that there was a card from my daughter in the Halloween basket that said “happy Halloween daddy, I love and miss you. And sleep with the light on tonight, ok? I don’t want the scary ugly monsters to get you” :)

Romantic Halloween Gift Basket with Chocolate Kisses

I received a Halloween basket this year. I was very happy to have the basket in my front door step.

It was 2 days earlier before Halloween, it was a nice way to start my day. The basket had arrived early in the morning by 10:45 am.

The basket was gorgeous with a lot cute little details. The basket was adorned a lot of good Halloween essentials. I liked the fact the Black was Woven with orange ribbons tied on each end side of the handle.

The treats were stashed on top of pink confetti. There were 7 items In the Halloween Basket. Inside the basket were a glittered card in Bright Green neon colored letters saying Happy Halloween followed by, 2 caramel candy apple with almond sprinkled on top wrapped in a sheer pink cover with pink ribbons on the candy 2 of the candy apple stick, a pack of candy corn, orange and green tin foiled chocolate kisses, and tootsie roll lollipops. Halloween Gift Basket For a Son

I received a Halloween Gift Basket for myself and my son. My ex mother in law handmade it and gave it to us as a Halloween gift.

It was a beautiful black basket with orange shredding that had two black taper candles, caramel apples, a stuffed bat, candy corn, chocolate Halloween candies, a small bag of Reece’s pieces in clear cellophane, a mini scarecrow, a light up pin, two coffee mugs with a Halloween design on them, two packs of spiced apple cider, several honey straws, homemade rice crispies, a small block of peanut butter fudge, a box of Halloween peeps, a pair of glow in the dark vampire teeth, several Halloween pencils with crazy erasers, a small Halloween writing tablet with blank pages inside, and lots of other small candy treats that were in the coffe mugs and scattered in the basket. Substitude for a Gift Basket

I don’t buy Halloween gift baskets and the reason might be of value to you.

My daughter is a Freshman at a public university. They offered these baskets at an exorbitant rate.

$25 for a half dozen cookies, a package of gummie bears, and a snickers bar.

Instead I transferred $100 into her account and emailed her.

If you offered a basket delivered to the major universities you would have a good environment in which you could be very competitive.

How to Make Halloween Gift Basket at Home

I’m a short order cook and every year I give the restaurant owner a Halloween gift basket.

Even though he is diabetic and can’t eat candy, he has 3 small children that love sweets.

Every year I try to switch it up a little and keep it interesting. I try not to spend too much money on the gift basket, usually using a container that the fruit comes in and lining it with an orange cloth.

This year, I got orange paper grass, and threw in some candy that my parents had bought to give to the neighborhood kids.

My parents are generous and buy full sized candy bars in bulk from Sam’s Club.

I tossed in 6 Snickers bars, 6 Mars, and 3 Baby Ruth. That way, each of his kids got 5 candy bars each.

I do this because I really appreciate having a job in this tough job market, and I think it gives me a leg up for future promotions or overtime opportunities.

I always deliver the basket in person, bringing it up to my boss’s office and knocking on the door. He always thanks me and says how much he loves candy, even though I know he can’t eat it for health reasons.

The Halloween gift basket looks like a pot which is used to keep something securely. It can be of many kinds like in circular, triangular, square & many more.

Only one thing should keep in mind while making it that,the lower surface of the material should be kept narrow and proceeding to top the radius of or the wideness of the material should be increase.

All the decorative and eatable things should be kept like chocolates, packed bakery items and especially wine. Many of the people prefer the orange,yellow and green.

Halloween Gift Basket for 11 Year Old

This Halloween I purchased the Mrs. Fields Halloween cookies in a basket from Walmart.com

It contained white and orange ghost cookies in a brown basket with a Autumn themed ribbon.

The basket was purchased for a Halloween party that my 11 year old daughter was invited to attend.

The hosts of the party loved it and placed it in the center of the table.

The hosts thought it was adorable and liked that it did not contain any “frightening” figures.

Delivery was within 4 days of order.
